Wooden Sod Stakes are a great way to secure sod to steep slopes, hills and dranage areas where sod may be prone to slide. These 5 ½” stakes are our favorate for securing sod on steep slopes and golf course bunkers. Use a hammer to drive the stake through the sod, leaving ½” sticking up. Use 4 to 8 stakes on each piece of sod. A great alternative to metal sod staples besause they will not damanage mower blades if hit.
