An Oregon certified blend of top performing perennial ryegrass varieties with high endophyte levels. Due to these very high endophyte levels, CHAMPION® GQ exhibits enhanced resistance to a number of important insects including: billbugs, sod webworms, chinch bugs, and others. Formulated especially for use on golf courses and athletic fields, it has the ability to establish quickly and suppress the growth of weeds. G.Q. means “Golf Quality” and is guaranteed to be free of Poa annua or Poa trivialis. Provides excellent salt tolerance and gray leaf spot resistance at the seedling level and beyond.
Light/Soil Requirements: Performs best in full sun or light shade. Grows well in many different soil types.
