Platteville Colorado Veterans Memorial

Accessible to the public 24 hours a day, the Platteville Veterans Memorial is situated at 12837 Co Rd 32, in Platteville, Colorado. The Veterans Memorial was dedicated in 2017, and is a beautiful memorial to honor the sacrifices made by those who were in the armed forces.

Local Veterans are named on the Memorial Wall, and one of the goals of the committee is to have the Memorial Wall accurately reflect the names of all Veterans who have served in the military from the local area.

Run completely by volunteers in the community, the Plattenville Veterans Memorial committee focuses on sponsoring events in the area to promote the honor and appreciation of those who served, and who continue to serve in the military.

The memorial is a place where you can sit down and reflect, as it is surrounded by natural beauty.

As a 501c3 non-profit, all donations made to the Platteville Veterans memorial are tax-deductible. You can learn more about the activities sponsored by the committee by attending one of the monthly meetings at the town hall.

If you have an Honorably Discharged Military Veteran in your life that you need to schedule Memorial Services for, you can have the service at our memorial on behalf of your loved one. Learn more about the services offered by the committee by contacting the group online.

Typical annual events at the Memorial Wall include celebrations for Flag Day, Memorial Day, Patriot Day, and Veterans Day. You can help participate in the Wreaths Across America every December, where a wreath is placed on the grave of every fallen service member.
