Green Valley Turf Co. supplied the sod for the 2024 CONMEBOL Copa América™ tournament for AT&T Stadium in Dallas. This sod is 1.5″ thick 100% sand-based grown on plastic. Since AT&T Stadium is indoor and cooled to 70 degrees in the summer, cool season grass was used and preformed at a high level. A field was constructed inside the domed stadium. Grow lights were hung from the ceiling and used to maintain and strengthen the field for the five weeks between installation and the tournament.
